whee!!! i'm sooo happy!!! church today was really cool...
let's see...was suppose to have guitar with kenny at ONE..BUT due to unforeseen circumstances..i reached queenstown mrt at 220...after grabbing danone chocolate biscuits(which i must say is super yummy)..by the time i reached the nursery room..it was like 225?!!! which is dumb..cos 1)guitar ends at 3..and 2)cell starts at 230..so yeah...i wonder whose fault it is..*glares at some pple* but kenny was being nice and very briefly taught me some strumming patterns...need to practice..
then chiong for cell..haha..cell was interesting..for the FIRST time..we started promptly at 3!!*waves pom poms around*..(well..from 230 to 3 is actually pre-cell prayer which kinda doesnt quite count as cell)anyway..word was done by suli today..short but good nonetheless...she shared about hearing God..think yeah..wad she said made a lot of sense..often we 'complain' that we can't hear God..or when we do hear something..we doubt and wonder if it's our own imagination..so yeah..suli shared that hearing God was very much like our relationship with people..we'll recognise people's voices..know their character and thoughts if we keep talking and spending time with them..so it's the same way with God...we gotta keep spending time with Him by reading His word to know His character..then she added that we gotta learn to wait on God..suggested we spend time on the bus not doing anything..and try not to get distracted by things around..but just focus on God and be still before Him..gonna try that this week.. =]
then was service!! woah..today's service was soo cool..it was the official launching of the Youth Service..started off with really cool stomp by i think Sonic Edge Band and some members of the Urban Race band..then later there was the techno tamborine dance..cheryl mei was dancing..didnt know she was sooooo talented =D there was a really chio girl dancing too..forgot to ask cheryl wad's her name!! oops!! then yeah..we went into worship..it was super loud and all..the usual larh..but today's atmosphere was exceptionally high...but free worship was still yeah..personal and all..God's amazing larh..the ways He speak..think i better start journelling soon..sermon was ok...but when service ended..the band became high and started playing really loudly again..it was quite fun larh...think the UR band is damn cool...then hang around..had dinner...then the guys when to play pool..poor me had no cv so guai guai came home.
oh well..i'm so exhausted...spent the whole day out..but everytime after going to church..i just feel so happy =D suppose it's the fellowship with everyone..getting together to talk and ask abotu each other..feels nice fellowshippingin the House of God..whihc reminds me..jon chua said i looked like a secondary ONE kid in my rj uniform...i was damn sad..but luckily pretty seah said i looked like sec 3..so it isnt that bad...BUT..after service..chris just had to make things bad by saying that he thought i was primary 6?!!!grrrrr.....
oh yeah trix!! please please ask ur parents about the guitar! i so wanna buy if from u!!it's so small larh!! PERFECT for me and totally UNsuitable for u dear.. =]
